Description   The Basic Safety System is a lightweight, economical confined space solution weighing only 67 lbs (31 kg). The hoist comes with a durable winch, featuring a dual pawl design, cable retaining spring assembly, and constantly engaged friction brake. The Basic is easily set up in three steps and provides an enormous amount of free space to work with compared to a normal tripod based system. The Basic replaces tripods as an efficient and economical confined space entry/rescue device. A continually braking mechanical winch with a standard 50' working length galvanized steel cable provides adequate lifeline for most entry/rescue situations. A standard tie off point provides an anchor point for additional fall protection devices when required. Features include: Rated capacity of 310 lbs. Bright red powder coat finish.
