- Rollgliss® Descent device is individually controlled by means of the brake and control lever to lower the person to safety
- The Rollgliss® Descent systems safety principle is based on a fixed drum around which an extremely high tensile special rope is wound a number of times
- Device can be stopped at any position on the rope (ie. to remove an obstruction) by moving the brake lever to the stop position - which is also the dead man's position should the person descending become unconscious, for example
- No moving parts (except for brake and control lever) which would otherwise be subject to excessive wear
- This unit is fixed to the line and is red in color (model 8900101 is removable from the line for greater versatility and is olive in color)
