Our ladder safety systems offer protection to you and your workers when working in places such as lift stations, water towers and buildings where you have to climb a ladder. These systems consist of a tensioned steel cable running the length of the climbing area. A safety sleeve is attached to the cable. The worker connects himself to the sleeve and begins to ascend or descend at a normal rate without attending to the safety sleeve. Should he slip or fall the sleeve locks onto the cable and prevents further movement until footing can be regained. These units attach to ladder rungs up to 1-1/8" diameter.
The ladder safety system is a flexible cable system that includes top and bottom brackets, cable, and a non-metallic cable guide. Curved systems come with three cable guides to route cable around the curve. Order your sleeve (USA #78020) and self-locking snap hook (USA #65152) separately for a complete system. If you need a harness with a front D-Ring (USA #65130) order that separately also.
