The Peltor® PTL™ (Push-To-Listen) earmuff eliminates the problem of having to hear speech and signals and have workers lift an earcup or remove earmuffs completely. Limited exposures to dangerous noise can greatly decrease effective protection levels. Now workers can have the best of both worlds. With single button simplicity, one earcup becomes activated in listening mode for a 30-second interval. To terminate the mode before 30 seconds, simply push the button. Listening mode allows unmuffled speech to be safely amplified to 87 dB. Patented liquid and foam filled cushions provide an optimum seal and comfort. Uses 1 AA battery (not included).
