Safe, Timely Solution for Emergency Height Rescue Miller® SafEscape™ Controlled Descent/Self-Rescue System offers a safe, timely solution for emergency height rescue. The SafEscape descender is specially designed for smooth, automatic vertical and angular controlled descent from overhead cranes, towers, aerial lifts, oil derricks, platforms or other elevated work areas.

throughout the world
How it works:
Simply install the SafEscape unit to a secure anchorage using a carabiner. Attach one end of the lifeline to the front rescue D-ring of the full body harness. Drop the excess lifeline to intended landing zone. The user's weight can then be transferred to the system and descend at a controlled rate (not exceeding 4.5 ft./sec.) to a lower level. As the user is descending, the opposite end of the rescue line is ascending and readying itself to perform yet another rescue.
