PVA gloves are nearly inert to strong solvents, including aromatics, aliphatics, and chlorinated solvents—chemicals which quickly deteriorate natural rubber, neoprene, and PVC gloves. With PVA gloves, there is little absorption to cause swelling, and little extraction to cause shrinking. PVA gloves only weigh about half as much as neoprene-coated gauntlets, so they provide a high level of comfort. PVA also offers good resistance to snags, punctures, abrasion, and cuts. Good for use with: Aliphatics, aromatics, chlorinated solvents, ketones (except acetone), esters. Note that PVA is water soluble.
