The ARC13-BH-NB FR Sock Hood from Oberon should be worn with the ArcShield ARC12 faceshield to provide the rated protection (13 cal/cm2 ATPV) over the entire head. This hood is made from a single layer of 9 oz Navy Blue fabric, which consists of 49% Aramid, 49% FR Rayon, 2% Lycra knit. The thread used is also FR rated. The FR Sock Hood is offered as a 'one size fits most'.
When the combination of Sock Hood and ArcShield ARC12 is used, the head is protected to an arc rating of 12 cal/cm2 ATPV or Hazard Risk Category 2 (HRC2).
