Proper hydration is extremely important on the job. The effects of dehydration can lead to lower productivity and impose serious health risks to a worker. A large number of those who wear fall protection find themselves separated from a water source and improper hydration can have many dangerous effects. These effects can be accelerated in hot and humid environments. This can cause heat disorders including heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
