Specifications:
System can be easily connected to most combination drench shower/eye wash or drench shower decontamination units which have 1-1/4" IPS pipe size and a 30 GPM water inlet source. If fixture is top supplied, adequate space must be provided for vertical orientation of sensor. Flow switch and
alarm horn are U.L. listed components. The flow switch is a CSA approved component. For model S19-310PVC the flow switch must be mounted horizontally. Flow switches are constructed of brass and should be protected from corrosive elements by being concealed behind a wall, in a cabinet, or other means. System is fully grounded and electrically insulated from water piping for safety. Remote location hookup possible
by using the contacts in the flow switch junction box.
Construction:
Externally adjustable horn sounds from 78–103 decibels at 10 feet away (123 decibels at 1 foot). Strobe light intensity at 258,000 max. effective candela on horizontal axis.Voltage is AC, 120 volts, 50/60 hz, single phase. Flow switch is AC 120/240V, 5 amps, double pole, double throw. 6-foot or 12-foot prewired
cable for electrical connection. Pipe size is 1-1/4" IPS supply.
NOTE: This assembly must be installed in a horizontal pipe run upstream of the fixture in the inlet water supply line.

On/Off Switch:
The horn can be turned off while the strobe light continues to flash and the water flows.

Light intensity is 258,000 max. effective candela on horizontal axis. Safety amber-colored glass. Dust cover. All solid state components with no moving parts for maintenance-free operation.

AC, 120 volts (220/240 volts available in a separate unit at additional cost), 50/60 hz, single phase. System is fully grounded and electrically insulated from water piping for safety.
