Lightweight, portable systems with motor blower and filter built into the headgear. Provides respiratory protection with face shield & hard hat features that comply with ANSI standards. There are no breathing tubes or compressed air hoses to restrict mobility. Comfortable positive pressure keeps out particulates and helps keep the user cool and the face shield fog free.
This lightweight, economical Airstream system is available in three configurations:
- A high efficiency headgear PAPR system (AS-200LBC) includes:

Use For:
Respiratory protection against certain airborne particulate contaminants (including dusts, fumes, mists,
radionuclides and asbestos) or hydrogen fluoride.
Do Not Use For:
- Oxygen deficient atmospheres
- Contaminant concentrations that are unknown or immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH)
- Contaminant concentrations that exceed 25 times the applicable exposure limit (the assigned protection factor for this respirator system) or the APF mandated by specific government standards, whichever is lower.
- Atmospheres containing paint spray or oil aerosols.
- A high efficiency headgear PAPR system that is intrinsically safe (AS-400LBC) include:

The miner's system comes with a bracket for mounting a miner's lamp to the headgear.
